We are so blessed and fortunate. Of course not everything is perfect in our lives, we have struggles, the current economy creates real concern; but in comparison to others, God has been very kind and generous with us. We have shelter, food, entertainment, good schools, comfort, etc... God calls us to love our neighbor, Jesus confirmed it. It is important to show our faith alive, as St James says, by producing fruits of good works. He died for us and He asks so little in return. St Paul explains to us - He saves us, we love Him, that makes us want to do things for Him, that makes us closer to Him, we love Him more, that makes us want to do more for Him, that makes us closer to Him, and on it goes. Can you give one week of you life to help others, to grow in your personal life, to grow closer to Christ, to do something that is meaningful to another human being. Join us - the cost is $100 per person and some premade food. We'll fundraise too to help with costs. Click on picture to see flyer. |
